Three WaSeaBi presentations at the EFFoST Conference
If you are looking to learn more about WaSeaBi and the results achieved in the project you will have ample opportunity to do so if you attend the 35th EFFoST International Conference.
Every year the European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST) organises this prestigious academic food science and technology conference where world-renowned researchers, scientists, policy makers, professionals and students from multi-disciplinary food-related fields share the latest developments and create new partnerships.
The organisers of the conference have invited the WaSeaBi partners to present the results achieved in the project in a special session dedicated to selected BBI JU funded projects.
No less than three presentations will be given by the three knowledge institutions participating in the project.
In the special session project coordinator, Charlotte Jacobsen from the Technical University of Denmark will be giving a presentation on the utilization of seafood side-streams for production of savoury ingredients and from AZTI, Monica Gutierrez will present strategies for valorisation of high value compounds from mussel cooking water.
In addition, Mehdi Abdollahi from Chalmers University of Technology will give an oral presentation in another session on pH-shift processing of solid side-streams.
The conference will be held in the city of Lausanne, Switzerland from 1-4 November 2021.
