BARNA is an SME specialized in fishmeal and fish oil production from by-products. With a production capacity above 200 tons of raw material by day, it’s equipped with latest technology, including the oil refining and wastewater evaporation systems. BARNA controls all the steps of the process, from the logistics, the control of raw materials quality to the assurance of the products security and quality. Located in the biosphere reserve of Urdaibai, BARNA is committed with the sustainability and have made an important effort to reduce any emissions. BARNA is currently looking for new valorisation schemes that would allow them to broaden their market and increase the benefit of their activity.
